The Role:
We need an experienced & eager candidate to fill in the position of an eCommerce & Web Designer at our organization. He/she would be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites and able to visualize the site’s structure and functionality before development and is competent to strategically design sites to be intuitive and easy for visitors to navigate.
The responsibility primarily revolves around 2 business functions:
Job Responsibilities:
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to executing e commerce websites.
- Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex roadblocks.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Establish and promote design guidelines and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest web trends and technologies.
Experience & Skills needed:
As a Web Designer, you are required to possess the following skill set in order to be able to provide your organization with the help it requires.
- Proven work experience as a Web Designer & eCommerce.
- Should have good working knowledge of User Experience (UX) Design
- Should have a strong grasp of web development languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator) and web development tools (e.g., WordPress) is essential.
- Understand the basics of visual design, including concepts like emergence, reification, and invariance.
- Eye for detail of even the smallest task in a project
- Time Management – timely follow up with team members, trainers, partners, clients
- Should be able to maintain checklists for multiple projects at a time and ensure that each and every person responsible is being notified about upcoming actions before hand
- Should be a team player – working with multi-cultural team members working at different locations
- Follow the process with utmost accuracy and ensure that other team members also do the same
- Experience in spoken & written English.
Education & Certifications needed:
- Graduate in any stream.
- Degree or Diplomas in related streams.
- Certified Web Professional from accredited institution
Location: the person should be based in our office at Global Operations centre in Dehradun, India (remote working is an option).
Contract Type: Full-time.
