ABOUT THE ROLE
This position's primary purpose is to test software before it is released into production. To create and administrate test plans, to organize and execute automated and manual testing, and in short, to ensure that the quality of software being delivered by the Software Development department, meets requirements.
 
WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Testing software for deficiencies: develop and document application test plans based on software requirements and technical specifications.
  • Reporting Deficiencies to development staff for rectification.
  • Developing test plans: Design and execute test plans on computer applications.
  • Interfacing with various business units to understand requirements.
  • Standardizing testing procedures: examine code and execution of code in various environments. Verify specific actions or functions of code.
 
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is required for this position. Must demonstrate the ability to read, speak, and write in English.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, AS/AA - Computer Science preferred.
  • 2 years of experience in Software Testing
  • 2 years of experience in Testing web applications
  • 2 years of experience in Testing methodologies
  • Understanding of Quality Assurance concepts, practices, and tools.
  • Bug Reporting
  • Attention to detail.
