Job description

GoTeam is currently looking for a HR Admin and Payroll Assistant to support our client's team with administrative tasks, payroll processing, and HR functions. The role entails collecting and verifying timekeeping data, processing payroll accurately, managing recruitment processes, maintaining employee records, administering benefits programs, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, and providing general administrative support to the HR department.

In This Position, You Will Be

  • Managing payroll processing by collecting and verifying timekeeping information and ensuring accurate and timely payroll calculations.
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and company policies during payroll processing and handle inquiries and discrepancies effectively.
  • Assisting with HR administration tasks, including recruitment processes, employee record maintenance, and onboarding/offboarding procedures.
  • Providing support for employee benefits administration, including enrollment assistance, coordination with providers, and accurate record-keeping.
  • Staying updated on labor laws and regulations to ensure compliance and prepare reports related to payroll, benefits, and HR metrics.
  • Assisting with audits and compliance reviews as needed to maintain regulatory adherence.
  • Offering general administrative support to the HR department, including filing, scanning, data entry, and organization of HR events and meetings.
  • Undertaking additional duties and special projects as assigned to contribute to departmental objectives and overall organizational success.


Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration, with a strong emphasis on timekeeping and validating timecards.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements is essential.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software is non-negotiable.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are crucial.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, are required.
