Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team for an exciting project. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance, and execution of automated test cases based on user stories. If you have a passion for ensuring software quality through automated testing and possess expertise in various test automation tools and methodologies, we want to hear from you.

Project Description:

Creation and maintenance of automated test cases based on user stories.
Consultation on the provisioning and quality assurance of required test data.
Execution and documentation of test cases and test runs.
Consultation on the design of central processes related to test automation.

Skills / Must-Have Criteria (Self-assessment / please briefly evaluate your skill):

Experience in implementing automated UI tests, preferably in the app or web environment.
Experience in automating interface tests.
Profound experience with (agile) test frameworks and automation tools such as Ranorex, Selenium, Robot Framework, Appium, Cucumber, Silk Test, UFT, Tosca.
Experience with common test methods and tools (including BDD, CI/CD, Gherkin, Jira XRay, etc.).
Basic German language skills, both written and spoken is a plus.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience in setting up and maintaining a test automation solution.
Knowledge of a programming language and software development, e.g., in the Android environment, C#, Python, Java, Kotlin desirable.
Certification according to ISTQB® (preferably as an ISTQB® Test Automation Engineer).
Experience in agile projects and common tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Xray.
