Head Of Design

Bitarchitects is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head of Design to lead the design team. The ideal candidate will be an architect with a minimum of 7 to 10 years of leadership experience possessing at least minimal knowledge of the US building codes. This role requires a dynamic leader who can inspire and mentor a team of talented designers (architects and interior design) ensuring the delivery of innovative and high-quality design solutions, while maintaining quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all design projects, from concept to completion.
• Develop and implement design strategies that align with the company's vision and goals.
• Ensure all design projects meet the highest standards of quality and sustainability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, and project teams to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional design solutions.
• Meet with the team of designers daily to oversee their work.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of design innovation.
• Review and approve design plans, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Architecture.
• 7 to 10 years of experience in architecture and design, with a proven track record of leading successful design projects.
• Minimal knowledge of US building codes and regulations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Ability to think creatively and strategically, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and principles is a plus.

Working hours:

• A minimum of 8 working hours per day: 8:00 AM EST - 4:00 PM EST
