JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to exceed our customers' expectations. The successful candidate will spend the majority of their time working directly with our utility customers to implement cutting-edge enterprise applications.
The job of the Solution Architect is to own the practice of designing, describing, and managing the SpryPoint solution to match the specific client’s business problems.
As a Solution Architect at SpryPoint, you will:
Work with SpryPoint Clients to match best practices with future state business requirements
Own overall quality of the implementation, completing regular audits and quality checks, ensuring best practices are followed
Lead and document Discovery (Analysis) sessions, Business Process reviews, Integration Design sessions, and Data Mapping exercises
Own and approve Discovery Reports
Review and provide feedback on all Business Process Design documents
Create and maintain process flows and best practices documents for system configuration and testing
Oversee and support system configuration
Provide input on training and testing materials
Document issues encountered during testing and acceptance phases
Maintain project-related documentation including issues logs, configuration guides and test cases
Qualifications & Competencies:
3+ years of experience implementing enterprise utility software, specifically with utility Customer Information Systems (CIS)
Ability to map processes with direct experience working on a large process mapping project
Experience with Mobile Field and Workforce Management (MFM & MWM), Work Order & Asset Management (WAMS) and Customer Engagement Portal experience is an asset
Experience analyzing large data sets is an asset
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of relational databases & SQL in particular
Understanding of modern development and deployment methodologies such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform and/or Azure
Experience working with Reporting & Business Intelligence Platforms

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in what can be a high-pressure environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a proven ability to present information clearly and concisely
Enthusiastic approach to learning new skills and open-minded to change
Proven interpersonal skills, the ability to build and strengthen relationships, and the ability to foster cooperation with numerous stakeholders including senior management, clients and business partners
