We are seeking an experienced Interaction Designer to collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary teams to architect and deliver cutting-edge digital solutions tailored to our clients' unique needs. With a focus on excellence and a passion for pushing boundaries, you will contribute to Olive Jar Digital's mission of catalysing transformative change in the digital landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct design research to support new policies, identify unmet needs, and test improvements, including reviewing previous research on payment services.
  • Develop a design plan with key objectives, methodologies, and participant criteria, ensuring thorough documentation and communication of insights.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design, build, test, and iterate prototypes, prioritising design research to meet policy implementation goals.
  • Work with stakeholders to prioritise and design service improvements based on user insights, ensuring alignment with DDaT and GOV.UK standards.
  • Continuously test and refine designs, validating user needs across segments with research and development teams.
  • Maintain and encourage high standards of practice, applying Agile principles and methodologies to align with the project's values and goals.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary, self-organising team, using Agile principles and methodologies.
