Job Description

The Customer Service & Accounts Receivables position is a dual-role focused on providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing accounts receivables. The ideal candidate will handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure accurate and timely collection of receivables. This role is pivotal in maintaining positive client relationships and supporting the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and issues effectively.
  • Manage the accounts receivables process, including invoicing, payment processing, and follow-up on overdue accounts.
  • Reconcile accounts and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Collaborate with the sales and IT teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any account discrepancies.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on receivables status and customer feedback.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer service quality.
  • Assist in special projects and tasks as assigned by management.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the IT or managed services industry.
  • Experience in accounts receivables management or a related financial role.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and CRM systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
  • High level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the industry or experience supporting similar business environments.
  • Knowledge of IT services and solutions.
