The Business Intelligence Developer I will play a crucial role in gathering and analyzing data to provide actionable insights and drive strategic decision-making.

What does a day in the life of a Business Intelligence Developer look like?
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports using business intelligence tools
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and provide accurate and timely insights
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular data validation and reconciliation
  • Analyze complex business problems and provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop metrics to measure business performance
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders through visualizations, presentations, and reports
  • Collaborate with other departments to drive process improvements and operational efficiency
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations to effectively present complex data
  • Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to create compelling and informative visual representations of data
  • Customize dashboards to meet the specific needs of different stakeholders and departments
  • Train end-users on accessing and interpreting dashboards for informed decision-making
  • Ensure data quality and integrity by establishing data governance policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement data management strategies to maintain data accuracy and consistency
  • Collaborate with IT teams to optimize data infrastructure, storage, and access
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather requirements and align data analysis efforts with business objectives
  • Communicate complex concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing guidance and support on data-driven decision-makin
  • Adheres to company policies and procedures
  • Meets or exceeds performance targets for related KPI’s
  • Continuously improves knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs and continuous learning modules
  • Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times
  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • What are the required qualifications of a Business Intelligence Developer?
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role, preferably in the call center environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and extract meaningful insights
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and database management
  • Experience with statistical analysis and modeling techniques is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and integrity
  • Proficient in using computers and various software applications
