Paycor’s Strategy Analyst Will Support The Strategy Leadership Team On a Range Of Activities Essential To The Company’s Goals. The Strategy Analyst Will Provide Analytical/strategic Thinking And Leadership Support That Enables Project And Business Leadership Teams To

  • Isolate business issues
  • Help design and execute analysis for studying business issues (market research, scenario planning, forecasting, market share, profitability, etc.)
  • Conduct micro and macro trend research and analysis (competitive intelligence, P.E.S.T, etc.)
  • Support development of formal recommendations and points of view to senior levels of company leadership
  • Help create document components (go-to-market or operational strategies, etc.) that inform critical strategic issues and decisions.

Duties and Cor Responsibilities

  • Partner with strategy leadership to design and develop organic and inorganic growth strategies
  • Support strategy ideation and business case development for new growth vectors, including market trends analysis, voice of customer research, competitive analysis, etc.
  • Facilitate business problem solving through structured hypotheses, detailed analyses, and synthesized insights leading to recommendations to senior management
  • Manage strategic projects end-to-end; including responsibility for deliverables and timelines, shifting priorities as needed
  • Partner with the Strategy Leadership team and functional leaders to gain consensus on strategic priorities and translate them into roadmaps that inform investment and resource allocations.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to evaluate options to achieve strategic initiatives (build/buy/partner).
  • Develop economic models to evaluate acquisitions, new business models, or in support of understanding the size, growth, and evolution of markets in which we do business, doing so with imperfect data

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, management, accounting or finance is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business strategy, finance, marketing, or management consulting.
  • Extensive experience in independently leading cross functional initiatives from ideation through delivery.
  • Strong program management skills with a bias towards action and self-motivated to drive work at pace and to the right conclusion
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, Technology or in the HCM Industry would be advantageous, but not required.
  • Strategic thinking, analytical skills, and ability to draw appropriate conclusions from multiple data sources and inputs; able to link long-term strategy with short-term execution plans to drive change
  • Ability to collaborate and work across a large, diverse, and matrixed organization with tact and persuasiveness
  • Exceptional influencing, negotiating, and partnering skills at all levels, including executive leadership; Ability to resolve conflicts and facilitate high stakes decision-making

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. In addition to base pay, $85,540 - $145,040. Paycor Associates are eligible for either a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on the position.
