Responsibilities

Lead and manage the finance and accounting functions for the Brazil region.

Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company’s business objectives.Oversee cash management, budget preparation, forecasting, and financial reporting for the LATAM region.

Conduct due diligence and manage post-closing integration for M&A activities.

Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Liaise with external auditors, legal advisors, and tax authorities.

Represent the company before investors, financial institutions, vendors, and clients.

Build and maintain key relationships with clients, suppliers, investors, and financial partners.

Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Implement and oversee financial systems and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA designation is highly desirable.

Extensive experience in a senior finance role within the financial services industry, preferably in cryptocurrency exchanges, trade desks, or payment gateways.

Proven track record in managing financial operations across multiple countries.

Strong understanding of financial transactions, accounting principles, and reconciliation processes.

Experience in M&A activities, including due diligence and post-closing integration.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and build relationships with partners and stakeholders.

Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.

Required profile
