As an Associate Director at CrossCountry Consulting you will be responsible for a mix of client delivery, leading teams and developing junior team members, and participating in business development activities.
What You'll Do:
Lead Sage Intacct-related projects, which includes gathering and understanding requirements, designing future state solutions, overseeing implementations, directing post-production support escalations, conducting health checks, gap analysis assessments, and facilitating enhancement projects
Leverage knowledge of key accounting business processes (e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Financial Close, etc.) and identify and analyze complex issues within the CFO's office
Collaborate with CrossCountry colleagues across Service Offerings (Accounting Advisory, Finance Transformation, Private Equity, other technology products) to propose and deliver integrated solutions to Sage Intacct customers
Identify issues, risks, and potential conflicts within the project, devising effective and timely resolution strategies
Serve as a key leader, defining project strategy, goals, and deliverables that support both clients and project teams
Participate in marketing and business development initiatives including lead roles project scoping and solution engineering to cultivate new client relationships and expand existing ones
Mentor team members through coaching, providing regular feedback and annual performance reviews, helping project teams navigate complex issues
What You'll Bring:
10+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting with a proven track record in the functional and technical design of multiple modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, Consolidations, etc.) within a Financial System solution (e.g., Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
Prior experience in a professional services environment (public accounting, advisory firm, or management consulting firm)
Proficiency in working with data to meet export/import requirements, with a demonstrated ability in data formatting and manipulation
Previous experience, preferably, advising commercial companies in areas such as: finance optimization, operations improvement, business process improvement, change management, program or project management
Project management experience in developing and steering project plans, project budgets, communication and alignment with key client stakeholders and internal team members
Experience mentoring and guiding junior team members, and providing problem-solving assistance to project teams with complex issues
Consistent success in building and developing strong client relationships
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, or similar technical discipline
