Job description

As a Technical Project Manager at Salvo Software, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of software projects. With your extensive experience in software development and project management, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, management, and execution of software development projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, quality standards, and budget constraints.
  • Leverage your in-depth knowledge of software development to guide the team in technical decision-making, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure best practices are followed.
  • If you possess web development skills, you will have the opportunity to provide valuable insights and expertise in web-related projects and technologies.
  • Lead and motivated cross-functional project teams, consisting of developers, designers, QA testers, and other technical professionals, fostering collaboration and productivity.
  • Oversee testing, quality control, and adherence to coding standards to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
  • Maintain thorough project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and issue tracking, ensuring a well-organized project record.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • More than 5 years of experience as a Technical Project Manager in software development.
  • Profound knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in software development technologies and languages.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management certifications (PMP, Agile, or similar) are a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and software.
