Licensed Psychologist

Action Behavior Centers is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to lead our evaluation services for children suspected of having autism in the Phoenix area. This is an ideal role for a candidate with an interest in assessment and diagnosis of autism and other developmental disorders.

What you will be doing as a Licensed Psychologist at ABC:

Action Behavior Centers is seeking a Licensed Psychologist to lead our evaluation services for children suspected of having autism in Texas. This is an ideal role for a candidate with an interest in assessment and diagnosis of autism and other developmental disorders.

What you will be doing as a Licensed Psychologist at ABC:

  • Conduct standardized assessments for autism evaluations
  • Tests most commonly used include: ADI-R, CARS-2, ADOS-2, Tele-ASD-Peds, ADI-R, ASRS, BASC-3, Vineland-3, DP-4 (training will be provided as needed)
  • Write diagnostic evaluation reports based on interpretation of test results
  • The role allows for testing, and report writing to be done via telehealth/remotely


What you will bring:

  • Applicants must have completed their Doctorate degree in clinical, counseling or school psychology and be fully licensed in TX as a Licensed Psychologist
  • Experience with psychological assessment of children, particularly evaluating for autism and other developmental differences
  • Previous education in developmental disorders and related differential diagnosis
  • Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Natural ability to connect with children and parents.
