Healthcare Business Analyst - SME (5+ Years )

We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the US healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, a deep understanding of healthcare processes, and the ability to translate business needs into effective solutions. Healthcare domain expertise or Subject Matter Expertise (SME) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and our organization, leveraging your healthcare domain expertise to understand and address their healthcare IT needs effectively.
• Conduct thorough analysis of client requirements and translate them into comprehensive solutions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sales/BD, Presales, Delivery, and Solution teams, to develop tailored proposals and presentations that showcase our capabilities and value proposition.
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of proposed solutions, considering factors such as technical feasibility, scalability, and alignment with client objectives.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations, articulating the benefits and advantages of our healthcare IT solutions while addressing any concerns or questions raised by the client.
• Stay informed about the latest trends, developments, and innovations in the US healthcare IT landscape, incorporating relevant insights into our sales and marketing efforts.
• Support the project team by providing valuable insights and guidance based on your domain expertise, ensuring successful delivery and implementation of healthcare IT solutions.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers, leveraging your understanding of their evolving needs and challenges.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise in the healthcare IT provider and/or payer vertical, with a focus on Payer core (claims/membership/provider management) or Provider clinical/RCM, Pharmacy benefit management domains.
• Possess at least 5 years of experience as a Subject Matter Expert or Business Analyst in the Healthcare Domain.
• Proficiency in healthcare operational workflows, including familiarity with EHR systems (such as EPIC, ATHENA, CERNER), EMR, and standards like HL7 and FHIR. Experience in Pharmacy and Lab systems is a plus.
• In-depth understanding of healthcare systems, processes, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and HITECH compliance

• An B.E/B.Tech/MCA/BCA/M.Tech or any equivalent degree.
• 5+ years of proven experience as a Business Analyst in the healthcare industry
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP) or related credentials is a plus
