Who You Are

As a Senior Tax Associate, you are a steadfast, accurate, and analytical professional who derives satisfaction from delivering exceptional work. Required Experience and Skills

  • Must have 4+ years of recent public accounting experience, including preparation of partnership, corporate, individual, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts, estates, and non-profits.
  • Assist with tax planning, prepare tax projections, and contribute to tax research and decision-making.
  • Prepare responses to IRS and state tax notices.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Masters degree preferred.
  • CPA or CPA eligible preferred but not required.
  • Ability to assist with the review of tax returns and prepare more complex tax returns.
  • Assume responsibility for the completion of tax returns under the supervision of more experienced staff.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Computer knowledge/Lacerte experience is a plus.
  • Outstanding written and communication skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of tax law.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to take on larger workloads during tax season.
