SportBuff is looking for a Senior Android Developer to join us on our journey of changing the live sports experience for millions of sports fans.

Seniority level: Senior/Lead

Work location: Fully remote (-/+3 hours GMT) (Optionally on-site at our offices in London)

SportBuff on Android

We are looking for an Android engineer to join our Android team. As an Android engineer at SportBuff you will participate in the development and maintenance of our Android SDK. Our codebase is purely in Kotlin using the MVVM design pattern and Jetpack compose for our UI designs. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain the Android SDK of Sport Buff Code new features Write technical documentation Participate and run code reviews Prototype new and redesign features

Requirements

3+ years experience developing native mobile Android applications is a must 3+ years experience programming in Kotlin is a must Experience with unit testing and test-driven development Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON Experience with Android UI principles and best practices. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git Experience working with Jetpack compose (must know at least the basic concept)
