Procurement Executive Opportunity

Working hours: 8.30am to 5.00pm
Working days: Monday to Friday.
Salary range: 60K-90K depending on the experience

KEY REQUIREMENTS
Develop, maintain and manage a strong base of supply chain and logistics partners to carryout day-to-day functions effectively.
Ensure timely supply of raw materials in right quality and in right quantities.
Develop contingency plans to ensure a smooth operation.
Support Sales and Marketing to seize new market opportunities.
Ability to maintain strong relationship among the supply chain and logistic partners to strengthen the procurement arm.
Demonstrate leadership and excellent managerial skills to improve efficiency and avoid inefficiencies.
Provide management reports accurately on time.
Ability to envision the future and set KPIs, goals and standards accordingly.
Ability to travel, represent the company in key events and in meetings.

Candidate Profile:

Age below 30 years.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in Food Industry.
Excellent knowledge in commercial and logistics functions.
Excellent organizing and leadership skills.
Degree/Diploma in logistics and supply chain from a reputed university
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
Fluency in both English and Sinhala.
Sound knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Ability to work under pressure and being driven from within to go the extra mile.
Driven by KPI and continuous improvement.
