Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our Finance Operations Team. This role will have the opportunity to support critical decisions as well as identify and establish process improvements. A successful candidate will be able to see the big picture while also focusing on detailed data. Additionally, success in the role will come from a desire to learn and grow as part of a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage time independently as well as part of a larger team.

Responsibilities

• Provide business partner support and guidance to various business functions, including:
• Providing financial guidance to department heads
• Supporting annual business plan and budget
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual performance dashboards, departmental summary reports, and KPIs
• Preparing product and project margin analysis
• Designing, analyzing, calculating and submitting incentive payments
• Supporting monthly closing
• Support companywide strategic initiatives through strategic thinking, planning and analysis
• Support strategic system initiatives
• Provide support to other ad hoc projects as needed

Basic Qualifications (These are the minimum qualifications you need to be considered for the job)

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or Accounting. MBA or CPA is a plus.
• Minimum of three years’ financial analysis in several financial roles, such as pricing analysis, cost analysis, profitability analysis, budget analysis, and/or treasury analysis.
• Experience in various financial/analysis tools and an integrated financial system such as Oracle, SAP, etc. Familiarity with an OLAP tool such as Essbase or PBCS is a plus.
• Strong Excel skills including the ability to use pivot tables and advanced formulas. Other Microsoft application experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence key partners.
