Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Lead to manage our DevOps team and lead our efforts in automating and streamlining our operations and processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, team management, and hands-on experience with various DevOps tools and technologies. The DevOps Lead will be responsible for creating roadmaps, managing the DevOps team, allocating work, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the DevOps team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Develop and implement DevOps strategies, processes, and best practices.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
Design, implement, and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, or CloudFormation.
Work closely with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Monitor and maintain the health, performance, and security of our cloud infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in production and non-production environments.
Develop and maintain documentation related to infrastructure and processes.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years of experience in the industry.
5+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields.
2+ years of experience in a leadership or management role.
Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, principles, and methodologies.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, or Azure.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or PowerShell.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, or CloudFormation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
