Job Summary
The Content Creator will aid instructors in creating and migrating content for online assessments. In this role, students will create randomized electrical engineering technology problems in an online assessment platform.
The successful candidate will be able to work with limited supervision, demonstrate trustworthiness by maintaining the confidentiality of course and assessment content, and be attentive to detail
This is a fully remote position; hours are flexible but we want students to commit to 10-20 hr/wk for 8-16 weeks. Students can work remotely from within the US only.
Job Duties
Job duties include:
· Creating new or modifying existing electrical engineering technology assessment problems
· Inputting problems into online assessment platform
· Verifying accuracy and robustness of problems in online assessment platform
Required Experience
· Pursuing a major in electrical engineering technology or electrical engineering
· Able to work 10 - 20 hours per week
· Ability to work independently and on a team
· Effective communication skills (written & verbal)
· Desire to learn and improve
· Discretion in handling confidential information
· Ability to quickly learn new software
· Have passed ECET 27700 or equivalent (Steady State AC Circuit Analysis) with A or B grade
Preferred Experience
· Experience with PERL or other C-type computer programming
