In FDNA, we work on the early detection of rare diseases with the help of AI technology. FDNA's technology is used by 70% of the world’s geneticists across 2,000 clinical sites in over 130 countries; our next-generation phenotyping (NGP) technologies capture, structure and analyze complex human physiological data to produce actionable genomic insights.

FDNA is part of Nacre Capital, a leading global venture builder, and is seeking a qualified DevOPs Engineer to advance FDNAs infrastructure.

We are looking for a professional IT operator with experience in provisioning, managing and operating cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS. A successful candidate has good experience in building, migrating, operating and debugging production environments, has a strong sense of ownership of the infrastructure they are responsible for, meticulous about planning - covers all bases of a migration (for example), is quick in identifying root cause resulting from IT infrastructure and knows how to plan and execute change to the infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

● Reports to the Head of Engineering

● Responsible for companies IT Operations:

  • Production
  • Staging
  • Corporate IT (cloud based)

● Responsible for complying with Security and compliance requirements diligently.

● Responsible for tooling (CI/CD)

● Responsible for cost monitoring

● Responsible for system health

● Responsible for documenting

Preferred Qualifications:

● Experience in security and compliance is an adavantage.

Requirements

  1. Care about IT infrastructure and making system resilient and robust
  2. Excellent communication skills (english)
  3. Proven track record of operating complex product environment, performing migrations, etc.
  4. Proficient in building and managing AWS cloud environments
  5. Proficient in Terraform (IaaC)
  6. Proficient in container technologies, specifically K8
  7. Proficient in linux
  8. Knowledge of DB performance (advantage)
  9. Reliable and available in the event of an incident.
  10. Proven track record working with automation testing tools (e.g. Selenium)
  11. Programming languages: Python, Ansible, SQL
  12. Fast and proactive - does not wait for problems to arise.
