Ready to pioneer the next generation of automotive software solutions? VxLabs is on the lookout for an Embedded Linux Software Engineer to lead the charge. Dive deep into real-time embedded software/firmware development, analyzing and adapting to domain-specific technical requirements.

What You'll Be Doing:

Responsible for the development of real-time embedded software/firmware-based software applications.
To Analyze domain-specific technical or low-level requirements and modification as per end customer or system requirements.
Perform software testing including unit, functional, and system level requirements including manual and automated.
Troubleshoots module/unit-level software problems.
Documenting technical deliverables like software specifications, design documents, code commenting, test cases and test reports, Release notes etc. throughout the project life cycle.
Follow defined process for Software Development life cycle.
Develops software solutions from established programming languages or by learning new languages required for a specific project

Requirements

+2 years' experience working with Embedded Linux Application programming.
Strong knowledge of OOPS concepts, Linux OS, Inter Process Communication, and multithreaded/multi-process application development.
Advanced C++ programming skills
Intermediate Scripting (Shell/Python) skills
Experience working with different embedded platforms like ARM/PowerPC processors and DSP based on Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA, Intel processors.
Strong sense of ownership, passionate, fast learner, analytical mindset.
You are curious, flexible, articulate, and accountable.
You value soft skills, are thoughtful and self-motivated.
You know Linux system-level fundamentals, e.g. cgroups, namespaces, apparmor
Commitment to software testing, code reviews and maintainable code
