Ready to pioneer the next generation of automotive software solutions? VxLabs is on the lookout for an Embedded Linux Software Engineer to lead the charge. Dive deep into real-time embedded software/firmware development, analyzing and adapting to domain-specific technical requirements.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Responsible for the development of real-time embedded software/firmware-based software applications.
  • To Analyze domain-specific technical or low-level requirements and modification as per end customer or system requirements.
  • Perform software testing including unit, functional, and system level requirements including manual and automated.
  • Troubleshoots module/unit-level software problems.
  • Documenting technical deliverables like software specifications, design documents, code commenting, test cases and test reports, Release notes etc. throughout the project life cycle.
  • Follow defined process for Software Development life cycle.
  • Develops software solutions from established programming languages or by learning new languages required for a specific project


Requirements
  • +2 years' experience working with Embedded Linux Application programming.
  • Strong knowledge of OOPS concepts, Linux OS, Inter Process Communication, and multithreaded/multi-process application development.
  • Advanced C++ programming skills
  • Intermediate Scripting (Shell/Python) skills
  • Experience working with different embedded platforms like ARM/PowerPC processors and DSP based on Qualcomm, TI, NXP, NVIDIA, Intel processors.
  • Strong sense of ownership, passionate, fast learner, analytical mindset.
  • You are curious, flexible, articulate, and accountable.
  • You value soft skills, are thoughtful and self-motivated.
  • You know Linux system-level fundamentals, e.g. cgroups, namespaces, apparmor
  • Commitment to software testing, code reviews and maintainable code
  • You have a bachelor’s or equivalent in Electrical/Computer Engineering/Computer-Science
