Job description

AWARD-WINNING PREMIUM CLASS CRUISE COMPANY VIKING RIVER CRUISES provided professional training with further employment for the river fleet.

This is a tremendous investment into your start of professional career PRVIDED BY THE COMPANY.

IMPORTANT: lodging, meals are provided, minimums salary is paid, travel expenses compensated when the contract started.

Training location: Vienna

Trainee positions:

Chef de Rang ( Waiter) (B2 English knowledge, eager to learn, talkative, stress resistant)
Receptionists (B2-C1 English knowledge, eager to learn, talkative, stress resistant, good with administration tasks, IT understanding)
Stateroom Stewards (B1 English knowledge, eager to learn, talkative, stress resistant)
Galley (A2 English knowledge, eager to learn, talkative, stress resistant, preferably worked as utility and/or understanding of kitchen procedures)

OUTSTANDING CONDITIONS:

you get paid during the training
all travel costs are covered by the employer
After the training you get working contract
Permanent, but season-based work each year from Spring to mid Fall (sometimes also Christmas Cruises)
Above average salary for the cruise industry paid in EURO
Insurance and social taxes paid by the employer
Provided catering and accommodation (shared double cabin, minimum fee is deducted from the gross salary as per Swiss law, net salary stays the same)

REQUIREMENTS for TRAINING PROJECT:

Min age 18 years old
Good English skills
Experience in hospitality preferred
No visible Tattoos
Fully vaccinated with WHO approved Covid-19 vaccine prior to embarkation
Ability to work independently, service-oriented and guest focused
Flexibility and stress resistance, team player, commitment, positive personality, neat appearance
