JAVA SpringBoot Developer

Remote Position

Overview:
We are seeking a Java Spring Boot Developer with 4 or more years of experience in web-based application development using Java Spring/Spring Boot framework. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing and consuming REST and SOAP-based services. Additionally, proficiency in Cloud Computing using AWS, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Docker, Maven, etc., is required.

Responsibilities:

• Develop customized coding, software integration, analysis, and configuration using Java Spring/Spring Boot.
• Lead and participate in the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of highly complex solutions adhering to company standards.
• Build non-functional monitoring capabilities and provide escalated support for highly complex applications in production.
• Implement and maintain security controls and monitoring according to company standards.
• Lead moderately complex projects and mentor less experienced teammates.
• Participate in an Agile environment, delivering high-quality working software, automating tasks, and engaging with stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated unit testing, integration, and functional testing.
• Provide warranty support and knowledge transfer to production support.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 4-7 years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience.
• In-depth knowledge of information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices.
• Ability to plan, manage projects, and solve complex problems.
• Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates.
• Deep knowledge of Java Spring Boot Framework and Spring Framework.
• Experience in developing and consuming REST and SOAP-based services using Java and Spring Boot framework.
• Experience integrating with relational databases both in cloud and on-premises.
• Experience with Performance Tuning, Scaling, Security, Resiliency Best Practices.
• Experience with one or more Test Frameworks, Capabilities & Tools: JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber.
• Experience in Cloud Computing using AWS, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Docker, Maven, etc.
• Experience with one or more CI/CD implementation, configuration management, and orchestration tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Maven, TerraForm, or Harness.
• Experience in debugging distributed systems with high data loads.
• Banking or financial services experience is a plus.
