Job description

This is a remote position.

As a Software Engineer on the new team that is the result of a recent acquisition (growth role), you will join a critical team integrating and building atop a key SaaS product in our client's grand platform.

Leveraging your background in Ruby on Rails and (ideally) you will work with some fantastic Developers to solve tough problems in delivering world-class SaaS products to their customers at scale. You will be exposed to a wide variety of technologies and help investigate new ones as they are constantly striving to keep their technology choices up-to-date. As an development team, they care deeply about being the best of the best - performance, reliability, reusability, code quality, test coverage, and observability. 
Here’s What You Should Know About Development with our client:
  • Their Technology: They are powered by several key technologies. They are looking for Developers with strong development experience using Ruby (on Rails). Experience with web application and distributed system development is valued enormously. They expect software Developers to have extensive familiarity with API development to be able to collaborate with peer back-end developers to devise solutions to product challenges, and to contribute to code on the API layer.
