Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts for internal website testing, ensuring end-to-end coverage of critical processes.
  • Use modern automation frameworks like Playwright or Cypress for robust UI and end-to-end testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and team members to identify and execute test scenarios.
  • Investigate and debug issues, working closely with developers for timely resolution.
  • Identify opportunities for test process improvement and automation enhancement continuously.
  • Document and communicate test results effectively within the team.
  • Collaborate with the DevOps team to establish automated deployment pipelines for seamless releases.
  • Design and implement automated tests for validating production deployments' success, including regression and performance tests.
  • Monitor production systems' health and performance in real-time, addressing issues promptly.
  • Implement automated alerting systems for anomaly detection and response to critical incidents.
  • Maintain critical performance and release metrics, ensuring smooth transitions between versions.
  • Contribute to creating runbooks and playbooks for incident response and disaster recovery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven UI automation experience, preferably using Playwright or Cypress.
  • Experience with BDD-driven acceptance testing.
  • Proficiency in automating web applications, emphasizing business logic testing.
  • Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with MongoDB for backend queries and Tinybird for data processing.
  • Familiarity with API and gRPC testing (nice to have).
  • Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with CLI tools and scripting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Strong interest in the cryptocurrency industry and market making is a plus.
