Your Impact:**

Pearce is seeking a Wind Services Resource Supervisor with a commitment to excellence, strong desire to succeed and learn new skills utilizing established procedures, with the highest regard for health, safety, and environmental compliance. As a Wind Services Resource Supervisor, you will oversee and provide back-end support for a team of technician resources in the field. Successful Technician Supervisors must be great communicators and able to understand and explain the impact and consequences of many rapidly changing project timelines. They must be able to multi-task and work quickly and collaboratively to address needs as they arise. They manage a multitude of personalities and job scopes across multiple states and clients. Confidence, enthusiasm, and decisiveness among a team atmosphere are key traits. This role reports to the Wind Resource Manager. Travel of up to 40% required.

Core Responsibilities

  • Reports to Resource Manager.
  • Supervise teams of technicians and manage technician personnel issues.
  • Author technician performance evaluation.
  • Assists technician development, ensure safety training is adhered.
  • Notifies manager of tooling repairs and calibration requests, completes documentation.
  • Project kickoff, including but not limited to page turns, tooling & equipment, PPE requirements.
  • Visit projects, and coach technicians.
  • Ensure daily timecard entry and accuracy.
  • Act as field trainer for competency audits (e.g., LOTO competency)
  • Train the trainer (various field OJT initiatives)
  • Engage in regular communications and active listening.

Core Experience

  • 3 years of progressive experience in the wind industry.
  • 1 year a crew, or site lead
  • Strong organizational and time management skills: can manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Works collaboratively and assertively across teams
  • Strategic thinker – recognizes impacts of a decision on many projects.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Extensive knowledge of the renewable energy industry and current industry best practices
  • Ability to be flexible and meet the changing needs of a dynamic growing company.
  • Creative problem solver
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong project and program management skills
  • Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Insists on the highest standards from self and others. Drives accountability for results
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Willing to manage tasks outside normal job scope as needed.
