Strategy and Communications Intern - Philadelphia

Strategy and Communications Consulting Wayne, Pennsylvania and Remote


Interns work closely with a team of consultants and will have a wide range of responsibilities, including conducting research on private-sector and policy issues within the healthcare system; supporting clients as they plan and execute their external engagement strategies; and developing content such as newsletters, social media messaging, and press releases. Interns will have the opportunity to work on challenging client questions, draft deliverables, and develop a presence with clients during meetings.

The internship will be open to in-person and remote work, with preference given to in-person candidates. The start date is flexible.

Desired Qualifications

  • Recent graduates who are motivated self-starters with experience or an interest in communications, healthcare, international relations, business, and public policy
  • Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
  • Experience developing clear and compelling communication materials, both in writing and in PowerPoint presentations
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Compensation

The internship is a paid position.

The Philadelphia Office
High Lantern Group’s Philadelphia office is primarily focused on healthcare and pharmaceutical issues.  We represent 7 of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies, work with leading advocacy and international organizations on critical health issues, including mental health and Alzheimer’s, and other healthcare influencers.   We are located in Wayne, just west of Philadelphia, on the Main Line. The office is a 5-minute walk from the Wayne Regional Rail Station, which is served by the SEPTA. Our normal operating hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
