Job description

This is a remote position.

Zuse Talent Solutions are working with a tech start-up that have created a SaaS platform to help e-commerce retailers increase sales across more sales channels, save time and make more profit. Their platform integrates into more than 35 web shopping carts, enabling unified listening, order and inventory management, accounting integration and deep insight and analytics.


They are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to drive new customer acquisition. The role will be responsible for converting and closing new leads and trials into long-term clients. As part of the process, you will take customers through the onboarding process and be their knowledgeable and helpful champion. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships throughout the process.


Main responsivities 
  • Respond quickly to inbound leads, nurturing and converting them into long-term customers
  • Build upon the database of prospects, implementing an outbound strategy to nurture and convert them
  • Drive the trial on-boarding process effectively
  • Be the champion for the prospects ensuring they understand how to use the platform to its full potential
  • Close deals, up selling where possible
  • Take responsibility for effective and seamless handover to the Customer Success Team
  • Contribute to the overall sales and customer acquisition strategy
  • Log all communication with prospects and customers along with all relevant updates into the CRM, ensuring one source of prospect and customer intelligence
  • Delight prospects and customers at every available opportunity to help them grow, save time and make more profit



Requirements
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or account executive, with a history of exceeding sales targets
  • Experience in onboarding leads and demonstrating value quickly
  • Proficiency in CRM software for pipeline management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Highly motivated with a hunger to close deals that add value
  • Strong responsibility and accountability characteristics
  • Experience of e-commerce retail channels and SaaS is a major plus

  • Salary up to £35,000 base plus 25% commission OTE (uncapped)
