Job description

This is a remote position.

A Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist is responsible for designing and implementing marketing automation solutions using Salesforce's Marketing Cloud platform. They work closely with clients to understand their marketing needs and goals and use the Salesforce platform to create targeted campaigns and track results. Some specific responsibilities for this role may include:

  • Configuring and maintaining the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, including data integration and segmentation
  • Developing and executing email campaigns, including creating templates, scheduling sends, and analyzing results.
  • Utilizing Salesforce's Journey Builder tool to create automated marketing journeys
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, customer service, and product development, to ensure marketing efforts align with overall business objectives
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and new features in the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and providing recommendations for client improvements.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of marketing automation and email marketing best practices and experience working with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. Knowledge of HTML and CSS and experience with data analysis and reporting is also beneficial.



Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
  • Experience working with the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, including knowledge of Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio
  • Understanding of marketing automation best practices, including lead nurturing, segmentation, and A/B testing
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS for creating and editing email templates
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as sales and product development
  • Experience with other marketing automation platforms, such as Marketo or Eloqua, may also be beneficial
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification preferred
