We are looking for DB Administrators on a contractual basis.
- Work days: 5 days a week, SUN to THURS
- Work Hours: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM (1 hr lunch break)
Job Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will be familiar with the web-based development life cycle including the planning, design, development and implementation, deployment, and maintenance stages. An in-depth knowledge of different programming languages, frameworks, and tools to include Angular, C#, MySql & Windows Form.
- Essential activities of this position
- Perform deep analysis of data management approach
- Examine stored procedures, scripts and triggers
- Recommend future state DB changes
- Identify DB performance improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with product managers to translate end-user requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop efficient and production ready code, based on end-user requirements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and improve existing software.
- Observe user feedback to recommend and design improvements, to optimize software.
- Develop technical documentation to guide future development projects and for use in technical support and user guides.
- Qualifications of this position
- 3+ years of experience in Angular, Single Page Applications, HTML
- 3+ years of experience in the following: Microsoft .NET, C#, Web APIs, and SQL based databases
- Excellent knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- Experience with Agile and Scrum development methodologies (SAFe)
- Ability to learn and work independently or as part of a team
- Bonus Points
- 2+ years of experience migrating desktop applications to the cloud
- Azure experience with containerized development, Docker files, and Kubernetes
Requirements
- At least 3 year(s)
- Proven track record of articulating or visualizing technical solutions.
- Proven track record of working with multiple stakeholders.
- An in-depth knowledge of different programming languages, frameworks, and tools to manage and optimize SQL servers and stored procedures.
- Adequate communication skills in English is a must.
- Experience with Azure pertaining to containerized development, Docker files, and Kubernetes is a bonus.
