The Sandbox is a user-generated content virtual world where players can build, own and monetize their own voxel gaming experiences on the Ethereum blockchain, using NFTs and token $SAND. We are building a deeply immersive gaming metaverse where creators get the chance to make games next to gaming giants and brands such as Snoop Dogg, The Walking Dead, The Smurfs and more. The Sandbox has more than 5 million accounts created and is a leading actor in the Web3, Metaverse and blockchain gaming industries.

As the 3C Product Manager, you’ll not only oversee the development roadmap but also ensure its completion by prioritizing and refining the project's goals and tasks. In collaboration with the Game Design team, you’ll translate high-level vision into clear tasks. Your role is crucial for problem-solving, communicating effectively, and maintaining the team’s focus. By adopting Agile methodologies, you will lead your team through iterative development, ensuring adaptability and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities:

Coordinate with your team’s Tech Lead and Game Design team to define and complete the roadmap for character, controller, and camera (3C), ensuring the game vision is fully realized.
Partner with the Tech Lead to manage the product backlog actively, prioritizing tasks to align with strategic objectives and adapting to changes as necessary.
Act as the primary point of contact for your team, maintaining clear lines of communication with all stakeholders.
Engage with Game Design, Art/Animation, Programming, and QA teams to convert game concepts into detailed work for character, controller, and camera (3C).
Explain the significance and context of tasks to the team, fostering a shared understanding and commitment to the project's success.
Ensure the team’s output meets established quality standards and incorporate feedback to consistently refine the game.
Generate presentations and reports that reflect your team's accomplishments and strategic direction.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

Proficient in Unity 3D with a focus on intuitive player control mechanics.
Understanding of animation principles and their impact on character movement and control.
Experience with system design, with collectible card game experience being a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in a game development context.
