Skill - SRE Python Developer

Mandatory skills:
Python developer with experience in automation using Python
Worked on API Integration with tools like Jira, confluence, and Dynatrace
Key Responsibilities:
You will enhance two existing Python Frameworks to support Incident Management and Release Quality
Our Release Passport system is a control framework to ensure the process is followed, and that the release is of high quality
You'll integrate data from other Reliability tools into the framework and build an auto-approve mechanism. If our automated tools say the release is of quality we should approve the release, otherwise reject it.
Our Incident Management Framework prioritizes and routes alerts to the correct locations. We want to drive all configurations "as-code" to allow teams to self-service to modify their routing rules. This will eventually feed into a self-healing framework.
You will write key documentation around how your solution is built and maintained
Requirement
Expert in development and scripting using Python for automation of operational activities involving API integrations with tools like Confluence, JIRA and Dynatrace
Proven Experience in writing modular and easily maintainable Python frameworks
Expertise in writing clean Python code to automate systems engineering tasks and reduce toil on the team
Good knowledge of Git and following source control best practices such as clear commits and constructive pull request reviews
Adhere to all corporate standards and procedures
A team player who will work in a large enterprise environment closely with internal groups to achieve business outcomes
Other Skills
Experience working with Dynatrace APIs to aggregate key quality metrics to demonstrate a release is of high quality
Experience working with Dynatrace alerting threshold and notification configurations
Experience working with Jenkins and Sonarqube to bring in key quality metrics into the Release Passport
Experience with designing, deploying, and managing large cloud infrastructures in AWS
High familiarity with native services like RDS, S3, VPC, EC2, ALB/NLB, IAM, Secrets Manager, Redis, and DMS etc.
Knowledge of Linux operating system architecture
Experience automating infrastructure with Terraform
Experience with Jenkins, Maven, JFrog, and other CI/CD tools and processes
Ability to write Ansible scripts to automate tasks and reduce toil on the team
