POSITION OVERVIEW :
Minimum of 5 years of JAVA/J2EE experience with strong hands-on skills, solid
understanding of Spring dependencies, Redis caching principles &
implementation, spring security, EH Cache principles & implementation,
Spring boot framework. • Extensive experience of Micro services
development •
Basic skillsets with HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS3, SASS, a11y Standards,
JSP/JSTL, Git and bitbucket. •
Knowledge of AWS utility tools and DevOps tools. •
Deliver tooling improvements for the delivery pipeline • Deep knowledge of
browser compatibility, response web design, application servers, unit-testing
frameworks. •
Solid knowledge of the entire application development life cycle including
configuration management practices and procedures. •
Must be able to apply SOLID, domain-driven design and other architectural
principles to designs and code •
Strong understanding of software design patterns and methodology. •
Flexibility, energy and ability to work well with others in a virtual, geographically
dispersed team environment. •
Demonstrated ability to stay current with development best practices, existing
and emerging technology platforms, and industry trends. •
Experience with formal software development methodologies, with a focus on
Agile
POSITION GENERAL DUTIES AND TASKS :
Deliver/Enhance high quality application & modules developed using J2EE
technologies
Ø Spring boot framework, Dependency Injection, Spring dependencies, Redis
Ø workflow, EH cache workflow.
Ø Must have strong experience in delivering micro services and should have
Ø abundant experience in maintaining projects running with Java/J2EE technologies.
Ø Should be adaptive to work in a Linux based development environment
Ø at least the basic commands and principles.
Ø Participate in continuous improvement by contributing best practices, enforcing
Ø standards, and improving processes.
Ø Knowledge of working in a Continuous Integration (CI) environment with
Ø Docker, Packer, AWS, Terraform and ELK Monitoring.
Ø DevOps tools experience i.e. such as Jenkins and AWS utility tools etc.
Ø Ensure compliance of developed solution to underlying solution architecture.
Ø Design and document the software implementation in the Software Design
Specification.
Ø Deliver the highest quality software using unit/integration testing, continuous
integration, build automation and other industry standard best practices.
Ø Perform design and code reviews to ensure architectural alignment and
quality.
Ø Support and maintain production digital applications by resolving production
issues, tuning performance, and coordinating troubleshooting efforts.
Ø Provide development oversight, metrics tracking and issue resolution.
Ø Maintain relationships and collaborate with other domains including
architecture, business analysis, infrastructure, quality control and security.
Ø Implementing requirements based on Low Level Design & Coding Standards.
Ø Collaborate with product management & engineering to define & implement
innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
Ø Delivering digital solutions by keeping the client at the forefront of digital
technologies.
Ø Setting technical direction focusing on front-end development.
Ø Driving the adoption of Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration and
Behaviour Driven Development.
