Description

 

PCG is looking for a EpicCare Cadence Specialist that will be responsible for managing patient scheduling and registration within the Epic Systems EHR, with a focus on the Cadence module. This role requires extensive knowledge of the EpicCare Cadence system, as well as a deep understanding of healthcare operations and workflows. The Specialist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patient scheduling and registration processes are efficient, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Manage patient scheduling and registration within the EpicCare Cadence system, including appointment scheduling, patient check-in, insurance verification, and other related tasks 
  • Develop and maintain workflows for patient scheduling and registration, in collaboration with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the EpicCare Cadence system, and work with technical support staff as needed 
  • Provide training and support to end users of the EpicCare Cadence system, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to patient scheduling and registration, including HIPAA and other relevant regulations 
  • Stay up-to-date on changes to the EpicCare Cadence system, and provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements as needed 


Requirements

 Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, information technology, or a related field 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in healthcare operations or IT, with a focus on patient scheduling and registration 
  • Extensive knowledge of the EpicCare Cadence system, including experience with configuration and customization 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders 
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
