The role: Lead front-end developer React/NextJS

We are recruiting a lead front-end developer for the high-performance e-commerce platform of our client. You will be working in an international development team via the scrum/agile development methodology. They work with the latest technologies to build a multi-tenant platform that is used to support their customers' health by selling them high quality nutritional supplements. The lead frontend developer works on programming, implementing, and testing the front-end parts of the various website.

Apart from developing you will be the first member of their remote based development team. In that role you will first work closely with their central team to get to know their platform. Once onboarded you will start building your own development team for the local office.

 

 

You bring to the team

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Leadership, coaching, training, and responsibility for your team members performance and happiness
  • Experience with

      a. React/NextJS/Typescript

      b. HTML/Javascript

      c. GraphQL and rest api’s

      d. CSS3(sass, less)

  • The ability to write clean, well structured, well tested, and reusable code
  • Use of React in high-volume production systems
  • Experience delivering pixel-perfect UI with a great UX
  • Extensive experience working hands-on as a Software Engineer in an agile environment
  • An understanding of SEO / Web Vitals preferably in an e-commerce environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in English
