Manages the overall recruitment process for placement of candidates from both internal and external sources into roles.
Provide staffing partner support to hiring managers to advise staffing strategy of open positions
Drives recruiting efforts for a broad range of engineering, scientific, technical/quality roles; some support of professional, finance and IT positions as needed.
Utilize active sourcing techniques to identify top talent matching the specific technical areas relevant to Seqirus and proactively recruit passive talent to our organization
Maintains and cultivates effective working relationships with hiring managers.
Advises hiring managers related to best practices and staffing policies; initiating resolution to staffing challenges
Collaborates with other staffing team members as needed to leverage efficiencies in recruitment
Consults directly with management to identify and recommend the most qualified candidates.
Conducts initial phone screening and interviews with both internal & external candidates
Participates as a member of the interviewing team and provides general company culture and benefit information to candidates.
Manages requisition details by opening requisitions in the applicant tracking system, maintaining updates for candidate records and position details, posting positions appropriately using strategic avenues, and dispositioning candidates appropriately
Leads candidate debrief sessions with hiring managers and interview panels prior to final candidate selections
Partners with staffing and HR colleagues to generate offers, obtain approvals, and extend to selected candidates
May attend local job fairs and recruiting events within RTP, NC area at partner schools and organizations
Skills:
Strong preference for experience in biotechnology / pharma industry
Demonstrated strengths with actively sourcing candidates for technical engineering/scientific skill sets
Experience supporting a manufacturing site preferred
Experience working directly with hiring managers from initial recruitment strategy discussions to candidate offer
Strong experience maintaining status updates in Applicant Tracking Systems and using appropriate disposition codes according to company policy for candidate screening
Experience working within an OFCCP compliant environment preferred
Attention to detail and strong communication skills required.
This is not a remote position, and will require on-site recruitment presence at the manufacturing facility.
