Job description

This is a remote position.

Title: Cloud Engineer
Education Qualification : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a related field 
Work Experience: 3-5 years
Work Mode: Remote
Roles and Responsibilities: 

· Designs highly available and geographically redundant cloud-based infrastructure.

· Plans and implements above designs.

· Extensive experience designing enterprise scale solutions on Azure infrastructure.· Leads Cloud team as Sr. technical resource.

· Follows best practices and development life cycle.
· Manages cloud environments in accordance with company security and compliance guidelines.
· Monitors the cloud environments for optimal performance and high availability.

· Oversees the cloud environments usage and cost to maximize efficiency.

· Documents all our cloud environments with diagrams, specifications, design, and implementation documents.

· Evaluates on-prem applications for cloud-readiness.

· Educates teams on the implementation of the new cloud-based systems.

· Employs exceptional problem-solving skills, identifies, and resolves problems before they become unmanageable.

· Works closely with networking, systems, applications, security, and compliance teams.
· High emphasis on Cloud security best practices.
