Job description

This is a remote position.

An Italian teacher is responsible for planning, delivering and evaluating Italian language instruction to students.

Some specific job duties of an Italian teacher include:

Preparing lesson plans and materials
Instructing students in speaking, listening, reading and writing in Italian
Evaluating student progress and providing feedback
Preparing and administering assessments
Communicating with parents and guardians about student progress

Requirements

A teaching certification or equivalent qualifications
Fluency in Italian and English
Experience teaching Italian or another foreign language
Knowledge of Italian culture and literature
Strong classroom management skills
Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
