Job description

This is a remote position.

Started in June 2020, 21K School is an online-only School with personalized, affordable and flexible education for K-12 students globally. It is a category creator in the formal K-12 space of Education, offering high-quality schooling to students irrespective of their location and time zone. 

 

Our goal is to make quality education accessible, affordable and flexible for all students irrespective of their location or socio-economic background. We are a 100% online school and presently offer three curricula for our students - Indian, American and British. 

We are expanding our Team and are looking for passionate Instructional and Pedagogical Leaders in K-12 Space to be a part of the path-breaking journey.

 

Principals are required for the following Curriculum:

 

-        Indian K-12 Curriculum following CBSE Pattern

-        British K-12 Curriculum following Edexcel

-        British K-12 Curriculum following Cambridge

-        American K-12 Curriculum accredited by COGNIA

-        Senior School (Grades 9-12) following NIOS Curriculum

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and implement the School’s vision and mission across all academic areas
  • Align the instructional and pedagogical practices with the overarching academic approach and philosophy of the School that is student centric.
  • Ensure the delivery of the curriculum and teaching, learning and assessment strategies, having particular regard to the student engagement and experience.
  • To assist in designing, review and implementation of the policies, procedures and guidelines for achieving highest standards of academic excellence
  • To ensure meticulous planning and high quality in day-to-day conduct of classes and student’s learning outcomes
  • To ensure excellent relationship with parents driven by proactive communication, grievance handling and relationship building
  • To observe, mentor and manage the academic coordinators and teachers for academic excellence ensuring that the work culture is inspiring and open.
  • To work closely with HR for recruitment, selection, training, development and management of the teachers and coordinators
  • To ensure compliance with Affiliation and Accreditation Policies, Rules and Guidelines.  
  • Measure key academic and student performance metrics, and prepare MIS for reporting and analysis
  • Any other tasks as required from time to time.



Requirements

Essential Requirements:

  • Willingness to work from home managing a virtual team
  • Experience in Academic Leadership with experience of activity based learning, experiential learning and project based learning.
  • Hands-on experience with Online Learning Platforms, Zoom, Google Workplace, and other IT Tools
  • Good understanding of international curriculum standards, frameworks and new developments in the academic world
  • Must have latest laptop and hi-speed internet at home with power back-up
  • Willingness to work six days a week and put in extra hours when required.

  • Certification showcasing IT Skills for use of computer, MS-Office Suite, etc.
  • Must have worked in a K-12 School with over 1000 students in a leadership role
