At STRI, we are hiring Business Interns to work with us for a period of 6 months. This internship comes with a Pre-placement opportunity, subject to good performance and completion of the internship duration.
The role of the Intern is to understand the target audience and identify and generate qualified leads of companies from various industries and regions.
Roles and Responsibilities:
New Business Lead Generation & Database Management
Identifying potential leads or target customers who fit the company's ideal customer profile (ICP). This can involve market research, data analysis, and using various tools and platforms to find potential leads.
Gathering information about leads, including key decision makers, contact details, job titles, company information, and any other relevant data that can be used for personalized outreach.
Integrating all the built database with the company's customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Developing and maintaining the database with good quality and relevant leads.
Keeping the customer relationship management (CRM) system up to date with accurate lead information and tracking interactions with leads.
Email Marketing:
Creating and sending targeted email campaigns to nurture leads and move them through the sales funnel. This may involve crafting compelling email copy and using marketing automation tools.
Engaging with potential leads on social media platforms, sharing relevant content, and participating in conversations to build relationships.
Tracking email campaign performance using metrics like open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates and sending follow-up emails.
Assigning scores or rankings to leads based on their engagement and behavior, helping prioritize follow-up efforts.
Identifying opportunities for automation and personalization.
Developing engaging and relevant email content.
Ensuring emails render correctly across various email clients and devices.
Staying updated on email marketing best practices, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
Client Relationship Building:
Implementing lead nurturing workflows to keep potential leads engaged and informed until they are ready to make a decision.

Focusing on building and maintaining relationships with leads even after they become customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Requirements

Good ability in writing content and e-mails.
Prior internship experience working with Sales CRM would be an advantage
Ability to work independently remotely with minimal guidance
Proactive- to get the job done while keeping all concerned parties in the loop.
