Overview of the PositionAs the Senior Financial Analyst for Kindthread you will play an integral role in supporting financial planning and analysis as well as identifying operational efficiencies and developing insightful reporting.
Essential Job Duties - Assist in developing and maintaining the annual budgets, building alignment with business partners and managing the forecast throughout the year - Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, including budget vs. actual variance analysis (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow/Working Capital) - Reviewing expense variances with various business leaders on a monthly or as needed basis and identifying root causes/operational issues - Forecasting and providing key insights that will drive executive decision-making - Assisting in the development of the company's financial and strategic plan - Identify and comprehend business issues; propose and carry out solutions - Evaluating and recommending modifications to projections and budgets based on findings - Provide decision making analysis including cost/benefit and profitability analyses, building quantitative / financial models, etc - Conduct ad-hoc financial support and analysis, as needed - Maintaining weekly cash forecast including variance analysis and associated supporting working capital analyses - Synthesize meaningful insights from large sets of data - Build strong internal relationships with the team
Required Skills/Abilities - Apparel experience – retail/digital/wholesale - Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment - Strong analytical and numerical skills which reflect your ability to manipulate, interpret and provide valuable insights - Willingness to learn and adapt in a changing environment and desire to develop new skills - A positive and energetic attitude - Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy, strategic thinker - Proficient in Excel, MicroStrategy, BI, PowerPoint - Experience with ERP systems (AX, Great Plains ideal)
Education and Experience - CPA, CFA, or equivalent; - 2+ years of FP&A experience, including financial modeling and data analysis
