NY-licensed Family Law Attorney

This is a remote position.

The Freelance Firm is a legal outsourcing platform that connects law firms with experienced, high-level freelance attorneys and paralegals who provide on-demand support for both short-term and ongoing legal projects.

Due to increasing demand, we are now actively seeking qualified, experienced and dedicated freelance attorneys with strong experience litigating family law matters in New York and able to attend hearings both remote and in-person hearings. Must be able to attend hearings in NYC courts.

Types of work may include research, drafting, hearing coverage, and general assistance with managing files through litigation.

Requirements:​

- Must be licensed in good standing to practice in the state of New York

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience

- Familiar with all aspects of family law cases & litigation

- Strong research and writing skills​

- Proven ability to meet deadlines and be well organized

- Self-starter and able to work independently

- Available up to 6-10 hours per week
