Job Description:
• Implement end-to-end BI reporting solutions using Tableau
• Convert existing Microsoft Access query connections from Oracle to Snowflake, and make any MS query adjustments accordingly
• Convert existing data source connections from Oracle to Snowflake, and make any report adjustments accordingly
• Transforming business needs into actionable visualizations in Tableau for use by stakeholders
• Work with business experts to understand business needs, translate business requirements into system functionality, and ensure that results meet established needs, goals, and timelines.
• Developing rich interactive visualizations integrating various reporting components from multiple data sources
• Interact cross-functionally with a wide variety of IT and business stakeholders
• Delivering results through strong leadership and a focus on what's best for our customers and users
• Adhere to and enforce USG's software development methodology and standards, which include functional and technical designs, code reviews, unit & integration testing
• Clearly document and communicate technical designs, solutions, and issues
• Maintain a strong focus on positive customer experience through all interactions and delivered products

Qualifications and Skills:
• Deep competency in Tableau reporting
• Experience with changing Tableau source connections
• Experience with Microsoft Access queries
• Experience with Snowflake queries
• Understanding of visual design principles
• Ability to effectively communicate with business users and translate business requirements into system functionality.
• Understanding of best practices and development standards for Tableau
• Performance tuning skills – SQL and Tableau
• Experience in designing and developing Analytics and Dashboards
• Strong data / process analysis skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively on diverse teams to design and deploy Tableau reports/dashboards
• Ability to assimilate knowledge quickly in a variety of domains and adept at leading discussions to articulate questions that are of value
• Effective Team player
