Job description

We are looking for a candidate who has experience doing software development (API, web services etc) with either Java, Python or Scala. Additionally candidates need experience with AWS and Spark as well. See the full JD here

Skill sets:
5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE/Spring Boot/Python/Scala
Experience in architectural, design and testing patterns
Experience in large scale distributed systems and event-driven architecture
Experience in Distributed data/computing tools (EMR, Kafka, Spark)
Experience with any NoSQL implementation (Mongo, Cassandra, GraphDB)
Experience in building and consuming RESTful Microservices
Good experience with AWS or any public cloud platforms and cloud native services

Job Description:
The engineers will be working on building EMI Core Platform. This would comprise
- modifying/creating (as needed) data pipelines to ingest external/internal data and store these in various data sources
- build APIs for the LOBs and EMI teams to retrieve this data
- enhancing capabilities of existing tools like Brand Detector, EMI Portal and building a new web scraper
