Job description

Skills Required:

Must have 5 years of experience in a Security Analyst/Engineer position
Must have 2 years of experience with Defender AV, Defender for Endpoint, and Microsoft 365 Security administration and deployment in a medium to large environment
Experience with SCCM, Intune (MEM)
Scripting experience with PowerShell, required
Scripting experience with Python/Bash, preferred
Experience with agent or sensor-based security software
Experience with Operating Systems: Windows, required
Experience with Operating Systems: Linux, preferred
Experience with Operating Systems: macOS, preferred
Experience with Azure, preferred
Strong understanding of systems administration on Windows, Linux/Unix, macOS operating systems – including secure configuration of these operating systems
Excellent teamwork and communication skills (written and verbal)
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Assurance (or other analytical disciplines) OR equivalent experience AND one or more of the following
certifications:

CompTIA(Security+, CySA+)
ISC (SSCP, CISSP-ISSAP/ISSEP/ISSMP concentrations preferred)
EC-Council CEH
GIAC/SANS certifications (GSEC, GCIA, GSIF, GFACT, GCWN, GCED, GCCC, GDAT, GDSA, GCIH, GPEN, GISP)

Responsibilities:

Manage enterprise deployments, configurations, and provide technical support/system administration for Defender AV, MDE (scope, coverage, and health)
Create or improve process and procedures of system health and management through automation/scripting
Create technical documentation for team SOP's/metrics reporting
Assist with non-project delivery tasks
