Job description

Target Pay Rate: $ 78.00/hr.

Description/Comment:

Our team supports Government and Federal customers by building and supporting, intuitive and accessible front-end employee portals. Our products allow our customers to easily access, amend and track benefits, medical and dental plans and core services. We are always innovating and improving the customer experience through design, functionality, usability and platform performance.

About the Role
  • You will work with our business and key stakeholders to gather requirements and lead the development of new features. You will collaborate cross-functionally to understand, plan and prioritize functionality enhancements that deliver value. You will take ownership of delivering engaging products from conception, testing, through to successful, on-time implementation. This is a Developer position.
The work you will do
  • Partnering with our business, teams and solutions leaders to develop our product vision and ensure successful delivery
  • Leading and facilitating daily scrum meetings using Agile methodology processes to ensure objectives and milestones are met
  • Ensuring effective API design and integration with platforms and technologies
  • Monitoring, reporting and presenting metrics to senior leadership on progress
  • Understanding workload priorities and delegating tasks as appropriate to cross-functional technical teams
  • Being an influential member in internal and external developer communities to share best-practices and process improvements
  • Collaborating with cross-functional technical teams to ensure high standards and quality of code
  • Creating project documentation, tracking and knowledge-based development to enhance and support new platforms

What you will need

  • Have a deep understanding and knowledge base in development tools, structure and processes
  • Have solid experience of Agile software methodologies and the Software Development Life-cycle
  • Have experience with API's, AWS and Cloud-based Saas Platforms
  • Have good experience designing complex technical solution using JAVA
  • Be highly organized and able to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment
  • Have experience in gathering customer requirements and translating in to business needs
  • Have exceptional communication and relationship building skills and the ability to influence teams and leadership
  • Have experience in leading and delivering successful projects, on-time and in budget systems analysis and functional design
  • OO design principles, system development methodologies and software lifecycles
  • Significant experience in two or more of the following core technology areas
  • Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot
  • System integration using synchronous and asynchronous protocols including SOAP, REST, IBM MQ, JMS, Kafka, or other distributed streaming technology
  • Microservices concepts and frameworks
  • HTML5 / Angular
  • Scripting, markup and "meta " languages
  • Database concepts, database design and data modeling (Relational and noSQL database)
  • Cloud services (IaaS, serverless) and providers (AWS/Azure/Google)

MUST be US citizen, vaccinated for Covid and show proof due to working on Federal client requirements
