Job description

Role: Informatica Administrator
Location: Remote (Not CA)
Length: Through EOY

Duties and Responsibilities
• Administration and support of Informatica Power Center and Power Exchange
• Troubleshoot workflows which transfer data between platforms such as SQL Server, Teradata, MQ, and flat files
• Implement monitoring and alerting
• Follow change and incident management processes
• Make recommendations to improve the environment and automate processes
• Create and edit documentation and diagrams
• Participate on projects and proactively communicate status to the project or delivery manager
• Share knowledge and mentor QVC staff members
• Assist with designing and building new infrastructure components
• Follow procedures to support other Data Platforms such as Teradata, Netezza and SQL Server

Qualifications
• Minimum of 3 years of experience replication and ETL technologies, preferably Informatica and SQL Server
• Experience working in a corporate environment with high transaction and data volume rates
• Experience with RedHat and Windows
• Experience with backup and recovery
• As required, work extended hours to support changes
• Participate in an on-call support
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required
• Basic Stonebranch, Ansible, Jenkins and BitBucket skills are a plus
