We are looking for a highly capable Inside Sales Operations Manager to ensure the team runs efficiently and productively. As a sales operations manager, you will report to the CSO and will be optimizing processes and activities to promote the success of EnergyPal’s sales team.
To be successful as an Inside Sales Operations Manager, you should have experience in inside sales management and the ability to create and implement improved sales processes, overseeing the sales team metrics and operational activities, and planning and reporting on sales performance and assisting in developing sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement efficient sales processes and methodologies to improve productivity and drive revenue growth. Continuously analyze and optimize the inside sales workflow to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Utilize data analytics to identify trends, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and generate insights to improve the team's performance. Present data-driven reports to management to guide decision-making.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of inside sales representatives, including contact metrics, conversion rates, and revenue targets. Provide regular feedback and administer training to enhance their skills and achieve sales goals.
Oversee the proper utilization of EnergyPal’s proprietary Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Implement best practices for utilization, reporting, and pipeline management.
Collaborate with sales leadership to develop accurate sales forecasts and sales plans. Assist in setting revenue targets and define strategies to achieve them.
Work closely with other departments, such as technology, products, marketing and customer support to align sales operations with the overall company objectives and improve interdepartmental processes. Collaborate with the training department to develop sales training programs that address skill gaps and support the ongoing development of our expert Energy Advisors (reps).
Qualifications:
College or University educated, preferably in business, marketing, or a related field.
Five or more years of sales operations management experience;
Proven experience in sales operations, sales process optimization, and performance data analysis is crucial for success in this role;
Strong leadership and team management skills to motivate and guide the inside sales team effectively, including evaluating sales team performance and providing training and coaching when necessary;
Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and the use of CRM systems to make data-driven decisions;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate insights, strategies, and performance updates to various stakeholders;
Ability to identify challenges within the sales process and develop practical solutions to improve productivity and efficiency;
Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced remote work environment
